Saga Arashiyama Museum of Arts and Culture holds a joint exhibition with Fukuda Art Museum focusing on the various types of painters who suffered from the "ill-starred" fate; some died an untimely death, others did not receive proper evaluation by the public, and etc.
In this museum, we mainly select those painters whose names are forgotten now although their talent was highly evaluated at that time.
We introduce you to a variety of unknown masterpieces.
