The summer special exhibition "EXPO: Nihonga in Profusion - Hokusai, Taikan, Suiseki- Japanese Art at World's Fairs from the Late Edo period Onwards" starts from July 19 till September 28.

This special exhibition is a joint presentation by SAMAC and Fukuda Art Museum, and we highly recommend visiting both to fully enjoy the experience.

The best way to do that? A combo ticket, valid for both locations. It is available for purchase on the day of your visit at the both museums' reception — no advance reservation needed. Just ask at the front desk.

Additionally, if you join the SAMAC's Friends Program on the day of your visit, you will receive a ¥500 discount on the annual fee and enjoy an extra one-month extension on your membership.
If you find yourself inspired by the exhibition, we would love for you to stop by the reception before you leave. Please note: this offer is valid only on the day of your visit.

From August 1 to 31, children under the age of 13 are admitted free of charge. Please ensure they are accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. You might want to take the most of "Feel Free to Talk Day" (every Tusday and Sunday).

Why not chilling in our museum to stay cool? We look forward to your visit soon.
