Fujiwara-no-Akisuke (1090-1155 C.E.)His father was Fujiwara-no-Akisue. Learning waka from his father, he succeeded the Rokujo waka lineage. He compiled the Shikashu, a collection of waka.

秋風に吹かれて、大空に横に細くたなびいている雲の切れ間から、漏れて姿を現す月の光の、何という清らかな明るさであろう。
The autumn wind blows and the moon peeks out from amongst the clouds in the great expanse of the sky. Its pure beauty and brightness pierce my heart.
