いつの間にか春が過ぎて夏が来たらしい。どうりで、夏になると白い衣を干すと言い伝えのある天の香具山の麓に、目にも鮮やかな真っ白な衣が干してあるのが見えるよ。
It seems that spring has already given way to summer. It is said that in the summertime the white robes can be seen hanging out to dry at the foot of Mt. Amanokaguyama. At the moment I see white robes so bright that they stun the eyes.
